WEATHER: Nearly perfect conditions with low wind, temps in the upper 70s, and virtually no bugs away from the shoreline

DISTANCE: 1.1 miles

DIFFICULTY: seriously? I just floated around for an hour.

AT LAST!: For nearly 15 years, I have been pondering how cool it would be to find a lake close to the cabin to paddle in the early morning or evening. Thanks to the Wood Widow I have the perfect spot less than 20 minutes from the cabin. After all this time, I have a neighborhood paddle lake. Woo hoo!
