NOTE TO SELF: In order to reduce the steep ascent, go counterclockwise (starting with Mountain) when doing the loop to the western overlook.
REAL-LIFE HERO: On my sweaty descent from the overlook, I came across a mom hiking up the mountain with 5 kids, including one in her backpack. Freaking superstar.
